Design your packaging 100% recyclable from renewable materials. Without plastic, by simply replacing the plastic in the blister with a folded cardboard. The cardboard blister eco-pac is particularly environmentally friendly, as it can be disposed entirely in wastepaper containers for recycling. Your product is protected by the cardboard blister packaging, a cut-out in the card or box allows the consumer to see the product.

Material

We use GD2 and GT2 cardboard qualities as standard. Individual requests are possible at any time. You can also choose FSC certified material and communicate this with the FSC label on the blister packaging. FSC stands for the Internationale Non-Profit-Organisation Forest Stewardship Council which reassures that the cardboard is made from raw material that comes from sustainable forestry.

Manufacturing process

For the eco-pac blister packaging, a cardboard blank is folded by a machine to serve as the blister body and the product is put inside. The blister card is then placed on top and sealed with the cardboard body. The cardboard packaging is produced by us in Co-packaging. This means all you do is send us your products and we take care of the rest.

Why is it worthwhile to consider green packaging?

Reducing your CO₂ footprint

Plastics often serve an elementary product protection purpose - we know that. But wherever their use is not absolutely necessary, fossil resources can be conserved and the CO₂ footprint reduced. Products that do not require a high level of packaging protection can rely on plastic alternatives (such as renewable raw materials) and thus make a positive contribution.
